Feast of St. Rose of Lima


August 23 is the feast day of St. Rose of Lima . She is the patron saint of for florists, gardners and those who are ridiculed for their piety.
This is also the feast day of our daughter, Megan, who chose St. Rose of Lima as her patron saint for Confirmation. Happy Feast day Megan!
God, You filled Saint Rose with love for You and enabled her to leave the world and be free for You through the austerity of penance. Through her intercession, help us to follow her footsteps on earth and enjoy the torrent of Your delights in Heaven. Amen.
